Relax in the Mini Nordic Spa
One of the standout features of this cottage is its amazing mini Nordic spa! Unwind in the sauna, soak in the hot tub, or invigorate yourself with the cold plunge circuit. It’s the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring or to just kick back and enjoy some well-deserved self-care. And the best part- it’s a private retreat only for you! And don’t forget- guests who book for more than 2 consecutive nights also get a complementary in-house massage.
Cozy and Inviting Cottage
The cottage itself feels super welcoming. With a rustic vibe and comfy furnishings, you’ll feel right at home the moment you walk in. It features 2 bedrooms as well as one big loft, and can sleep 8. There is a full bathroom on site, and we loved that the kitchen came fully equipped with everything you need to cook. Plus, the big windows offer breathtaking views of the lake, especially at sunset when everything lights up in beautiful colours.
Things to Do at Mini Nordic Spa
When you’re taking a break from all the spa-ing, there’s tons to do at the cottage. Whether you want to relax by the dock and read a book, do a board game night with your friends, or take the kayaks out to explore the area. Stoney Lake is known for its stunning, clear waters and lush surroundings. We stayed the second week of October, and the lake was still warm enough to go for a dip. We spent some time on the dock lounging by the lake, surrounded by nature and wildlife- we saw tons of Canada geese, swans, and beavers. While we didn’t have a chance to fish we saw a few people out fishing on the lake- and the fish were definitely biting!
As the day winds down, the lake transforms into a peaceful oasis. We’d sit around the fire pit making some kielbasas’ and s’mores, enjoying our time under the stars before we’d hit the nordic mini spa before bed. It’s the perfect setting for some stargazing or just kicking back and enjoying the sounds of nature.
