From the moment you step onto the plane, you are greeted with luxury, comfort, and an exceptional level of service. THE PRE-FLIGHT EXPERIENCE
The experience of flying business class with Turkish Airlines begins long before you board the plane. Passengers flying business class can take advantage of dedicated check-in counters and bypass the long queues that are often seen in economy class. This means you'll be able to check-in and drop off your luggage quickly and efficiently, leaving you with more time to relax before your flight.
Once you've checked in, you'll have access to Turkish Airlines' business class lounges, or a lounge partner. You already know we love airport lounges, as its the perfect place to relax before a long flight- there’s nothing better than a glass of prosecco before a flight! Turkish Airlines also has one of the most amazing lounges we’ve ever been in at their hub airport in Istanbul, complete with a golf simulator, massage therapist, kebab chefs, pressing service, bedroom suites, and showers. There were over 5 different food stations (including a manti station!!!), with chefs constantly preparing fresh turkish and international cuisines.
BOARDING
When it's time to board your flight, business class passengers are typically given priority boarding. This means you'll be able to board the plane before economy class passengers, allowing you to get settled into your seat before the rest of the plane fills up. When we boarded, we were offered a selection of fresh juices or water and a warm towel before the plane took off.
ONBOARD AMENITIES
One of the most significant advantages of flying business class with Turkish Airlines is the onboard amenities. The business class seats are designed to provide maximum comfort and privacy, making it easy to relax and enjoy your flight. Seats are typically arranged in a 2-2-2 configuration, with fully-reclining seats that convert into a lie-flat bed. This means you'll be able to get some much-needed rest during your flight, making it easier to adjust to a new time zone. Each seat also comes with a range of amenities to help you pass the time. Passengers are provided with noise-canceling headphones, a personal screen with an extensive selection of movies and TV shows, and a USB port to charge your devices. Additionally, each seat is equipped with a reading light, adjustable headrest, and plenty of legroom. The amenity kit included face spray, lip balm, hand lotion, comfy socks, and a toothbrush kit.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE
Another significant advantage of flying business class with Turkish Airlines is the food and beverage offerings. On flights over 8 hours, you can experience the signature ‘Flying Chef’ experience, where a chef comes out to take your order and serve you your food. Passengers are offered a range of gourmet dishes, from Turkish to international cuisine.
On our flight, the flying chef came out with a trolley of appetizers. We had a selection of marinated seafood salad, smoked salmon, hummus tabbouleh, and pumpkin soup. You could choose as much or as little as you wanted, and everything was sooo tasty (I got two servings of the soup!!). For our entree, we had a choice of red snapper filet, rigatoni with parmesan tomato sauce, or rosemary grilled chicken breast. Kaan went for the snapper while I went for the chicken, and both were delicious. During dinner service, the crew brings out an electric candle to add to the ambiance- so cute!
The trolley came around again just in time for dessert- we had a choice of a wide variety of Turkish desserts, cheesecakes, and souffle for dessert. The Turkish hospitality didn’t just stop at the meal service- Turkish Airlines offers dine-on-demand during the flight. This means that if you got peckish at any point during the flight, you can order more food, ranging from cheese plates, mezes, or sandwiches.
There was a selection of Turkish and International wine and beer on board, and Tattinger champagne was also an option (which Kaan and I LOVEE and the staff kept topping up). Trust us, dining in business class on Turkish Airlines is an experience you won’t forget- all you have to do is sit back, sip your champagne, and enjoy the ride!
IN FLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT
Turkish Airlines offers an extensive selection of in-flight entertainment, making it easy to pass the time during your flight. The airline's entertainment system features a range of movies, TV shows, and music, with options available in multiple languages. In addition to the standard entertainment options, Turkish Airlines also offers a complimentary 1GB of onboard Wi-Fi for business class passengers. This not only means you can stay connected during your flight, but you can also post live to Instagram and Tiktok to let your friends and family know all about your Turkish Airlines experience ;).
SERVICE
From the moment you step onto the plane, you are treated with the utmost respect and care. Flight attendants are trained to anticipate your needs and provide a personalized experience that caters to your preferences. When you’re ready to go to sleep, the flight attendants will prepare your bed, complete with a mattress, pillows, duvet, slippers and an eye mask!
